This Facebook group, which has over 1500 members, is designed for steel band educators to discuss the art of teaching steel band as well as the repertoire and curricular materials used when teaching a steel band. Music majors with an interest in teaching steel band are encouraged to join as well as current teachers that would like to start a steel band. Companies that sell steelpans and/or related items are invited to join; however, please keep product mentions relevant to posts on the board and refrain from spamming.
