Mannette Festival of Steel

All participants in the Steel Band workshop will be divided into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced level ensembles.  Each group will have to opportunity to learn several pieces with hands-on instruction from our world-class faculty.  At the end of the week, all your hard work will be showcased on stage in downtown Morgantown!

Steelpan building workshop participants will be working one-on-one with pan builder Keith Moone. You will go through the entire building process; from how to sink your pan all the way to shaping your notes and a rough tuning. Keith will perform the final tuning of your instrument, and because we want everyone that is participating to have an unforgettable experience, you get to keep the pan you build!
